This course is known in the area as being rather easy to break 80, but breaking 70 is extremely hard to achieve. The layout features fairly open natural fairways that lead to small, elevated greens surrounded by a variety of hazards. This course provides an intermediate level of play, which makes it popular with golfers of all ages and abilities. An excellent junior golfer program is available. Many of Saskatchewan's best junior golfers perfected their game at Wildwood. The 5,678-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 71.8 and a slope of 119.
