Whitetail Golf Resort opened for play April 1, 2001. Located about 1 + hours north of Washington DC, this links style public course was masterfully cut from the mountains of south central Pennsylvania, and the many elevation changes throughout will reward golfers with some spectacular views. Designed by Rick Robbins, this par 72 course plays from 6,950 to 5,234 yards and offers 4 sets of tees to accommodate a variety of handicaps. Training facilities include a 6-acre practice area with multi level tees, 4 target greens, and a 12,000 square foot putting green, as well as group and individual instruction from the Whitetail teaching staff. A complete pro shop and 90 room convention center are also planned for the resort. Green fees listed include cart, unlimited range balls, GPS yardage system on every cart, and tax.
