The course sits at the foot of scenic mountains and is described as "the place where the prairies meet the mountains." A variety of wildlife are indigenous to this area including deer, elk, mountain sheep, moose, coyote, cougars, and bears. The elevation is 4,800 feet above sea level. The course hosts the North American Native Championship in June, attracting approximately 145 players from around the continent. In 1997 the facility began installing a state-of-the-art irrigation system. |
