This links-style course was designed by Michael Hurdzan and opened for play summer 2000. Wasioto Winds is located in a valley. Many holes are intersected by mountain streams, and striking views abound. The course plays from 4,058 to 7,037-yards and offers 5 sets of tees to challenge golfers of all skill levels. The fairways are generally flat and water comes into play on several holes in the form of three lakes, a creek and several wetlands areas. This is a state-owned public facility.
