25501 Johns Road South Lyon, MI 48178 p: 248.437.7470 This course has three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. The most popular combination is the North/South Course. The North Course is longer and has more trees than the other courses. Water hazards (ponds) come into play on six holes. The fairways are hilly, and the tee boxes are elevated. The South Course is more open than the North or West courses. The fairways are flat, but there are trees that can alter your shots, and some holes have dogleg designs. There are four ponds that come into play on five holes. The South Course and the West Course require shot placement. The West Course is the shortest of the three nines. The tee shots are usually hit with a long iron or three wood. Two ponds come into play on three holes. All three nine hole courses have fairway mounding and well-bunkered greens. The wind often becomes a factor during the spring and fall. Arthur Hills redesigned this course in 1990 and 1995. |
