This course is located in the wetlands of a prairie, which is a haven for many different species of waterfowl. It sits alongside a creek that winds its way through four of the nine holes. The tree-lined fairways are wide and slightly undulating. The medium-sized greens are flat and rather fast. The challenging signature hole is #9, a 151-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot from a tee box nestled in a grove of trees. The fairway is virtually non existent because of the creek that flows through the fairway and around the green, nearly surrounding it.
