The U Golf Course is the oldest and most historic golf course in the state. It is what is left of the Historic Fort Douglas Country Club. It was once a championship 18-hole layout, and played host to a perennial PGA Tour event! The course is now an executive par 31/32.

The U Course is characterized by small, elevated greens and large mature tree-lined fairways. With all roadways playing O.B., we have Out of Bounds in play on 7 of the 9 holes! Holes 1 and 9, both of which are 3-pars, are in my estimation, the toughest, most challenging holes on the course. If you can start and end with a par to your round, you have done better than most even accomplished players.
