10320 E Dynamite Blvd Scottsdale, AZ 85255 p: 480.585.5300 Website This facility has two dynamic eighteen hole courses. The Monument Course has beauty, challenge, and is thoroughly enjoyable to play. The desert frequently comes into play, but the course is not a target course. Hole #14, a 604-yard, par 5, was voted one of "The Best 18 Holes You Can Play" by "Golf Digest" in 1997. On this hole your tee shot must carry over a dry desert wash and a stretch of desert. The second shot is somewhat tricky since the long, slender green is set at a diagonal, requiring an approach from the right side of the fairway. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the #1 "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996. "GOLF Magazine" chose the Monument Course 6th in the category of "Top 100 Courses You Can Play in the U.S." for 1998, 58th among the "Top 100 Courses in the U.S." for 1995, and 70th in the same category for 1997. "GOLFWEEK" selected the course 22nd in the category of "America's 100 Best Modern Courses" for 1997, 26th for 1998 and 36th for 1999. The Pinnacle Course is a target-style design built near Scottsdale's landmark Pinnacle Peak. The signature hole, nicknamed "The Pinnacle," is #18, a 407-yard, par 4, featuring an outstanding view of Pinnacle Peak in the background. This course features boulders, panoramic views, and several elevation changes. Water hazards come into play on holes #4 and #9. "Golf Digest" selected the Pinnacle Course 2nd in the category of "Best New Upscale Courses" for 1996, and the 8th "Best in State" course for 1997-98. "GOLF Magazine" selected it 30th on its 1998 list of "Top 100 Courses You Can Play in the U.S." Course information booklets are available in the pro shop.
