1533 Chalkstone Avenue Providence, RI 02909 p: 401.521.8460 This hilly course plays longer than the yardage indicates, and locals say that the main hazards are behind the greens. Water hazards come into play on two holes. All the fairways are lined with trees and a multiple cut of rough, and the greens are slightly sloped. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 5th "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996. This championship course hosted the U.S. Open during the 1930s. |
