This traditional course completed a two-phase renovation project in 1998. The changes included enhancing and recreating the original design features of the course and adding improved maintenance technology. The design features narrow fairways and small greens. The signature hole is #5, a 192-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water to a small green. George W. Cobb did some earlier renovations to the course in 1963, followed by David Gordon in 1968.
