This course is a traditional American links-style course, situated on 400 acres of secluded beauty. The greens are well-bunkered and considered smaller than most greens presently being designed on new courses. They are difficult to hit due to the amount of sand bunker protection and shallow dimensions. The fairways are wide, in some areas spanning fifty to eighty yards. Widely considered user-friendly, the course also provides a stiff challenge for golfers carrying a 0-5 handicap. This is greatly determined by the course's length. The signature hole is #17, a 142-yard, par 3, which plays downhill and is cut through pines.
