This course sits at the base of the Rio Grande Valley and is very scenic. Water hazards come into play on almost every hole. The signature hole is #5, a 411-yard, par 4, with water down the entire right side of the fairway and out-of-bounds stakes down the left side. The prevailing wind blows directly into your face, making this hole longer than the yardage indicates. There are discounts for residents of Pharr.
