This beautiful picturesque course was built on a farmer's paradise. Mountains surround this hilly and tree-laden course, which overlooks the magnificent Ottawa River. The greens are very small, fast and mostly flat, while the rolling fairways vary between narrow and average width. There is a creek that runs through the middle of the course and comes into play on three holes. One of the club's favorite holes is the Graveyard hole, which is #7, a 218-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot up a small hill then down a tight fairway lined with trees to the left and a fence bordering a graveyard on the right. The approach is to an elevated green, which is approximately twenty feet from the fence. The club personnel said that many golfers have bounced their golf shots off tombstones and back onto the fairway while trying to find the green. There are fox, deer, and moose that often find their way onto the course. Ravens that frequent this course prey on golf balls in the fairways, making this course quite unique.
