Tega Cay Golf course, originally constructed 1971, was expanded to 27-holes in July 2001 by architect George Clifton. The Grand View nine is new and the Carolina Pines nine is currently under renovation. When completed, the three nines, Cove, Carolina Pines, and Grand View, will be playable in a variety of 18-hole combinations. Part of the Lake Shore on Lake community, Tega Cay features narrow fairways with small landing areas. Accuracy is a must when playing this course, which features a spectacular variety of mature oaks, spruces and gums lining the fairways.
