Tanyard Country Club is a semi-private club offering memberships, and is open to the public. This club was purchased by members in 1996, who then began major renovations to the course, such as adding more water hazards, upgrading the greens and fairways, and lengthening the course by approximately 200 yards. The renovation is complete and the current layout of the course features wider fairways and larger, more undulating greens. Water hazards come into play on a few holes. Many of the fairways are dogleg configurations, and numerous sand bunkers protect both the fairways and greens. Senior discounts are available on weekdays and twilight rates start at 3PM.
