Meacham Street Williamstown, MA 01267 p: 413.458.3997 This traditional course, which is part of Williams College, was built on flat terrain. The layout features wide fairways and large greens. Water hazards come into play on two holes. The course is exquisitely well groomed and has many mature trees lining its fairways. This course is considered a golfing jewel. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 6th "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996, and "GOLF Magazine" ranked it 61st best under the 1998 category of "Top 100 Courses You Can Play in the U.S." In addition, "GOLFWEEK" awarded it 67th among "America's 100 Best Classical Courses" in 1997, 58th for 1998 and 43rd in 1999. The driving range is only open in June, July and August. Green fees may only be paid by check or credit card. |
