Sugar Creek Golf Course is a nine-hole, par 32 public golf course, owned and operated by the Elmhurst Park District and Village of Villa Park. The course features large, meticulously maintained, undulating Bentgrass greens, comparable to the best in the Chicago area. Also, a three acre pond comes into play on four of the nine holes, providing a challenge for the more experienced player, yet playable enough for golfers with less experience. Renovations to the course in 2003 included additional sand bunkers and tees, extension of the cart path system, and changing hole #8 from a par 3 to a par 4. Additionally, the course layout was rearranged to allow for improved flow from hole to hole, and better pace of play.
