The par 72 championship North Course stretches to nearly 7,000 yards and winds through pine forest, ponds, and streams. The North, both longer and flatter of the two courses at Stow Acres, presents eight ponds that come into play on seven of the holes. This course hosted the 70th U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship and the 2003 and 2004 PGA Open Qualifier for the Deutsche Bank PGA Championship.

Many believe that the South Course is the equal to the nationally recognized North. The reason? Great shot values. Many holes require an accurate shot with the correct club to a specific target area. Big rewards for the well hit shot, and big penalties for those who take a risk and fail.
