This course, situated in rural Minnesota, features hilly terrain and thick rough. The open-country fairways are relatively flat and vary in width. In contrast, the greens are generally large and the heavy undulation creates challenging putts. The signature hole is #4, a 550-yard, par 5, which calls for an approach shot over water to reach the narrow green protected to the rear by a sand bunker.
