This resort offers three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. These courses are set amidst the rolling hills of Wisconsin. The original eighteen holes, the Front and Back courses, were designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and are traditional Jones' designs. These nine hole layouts provide many picturesque views. Water hazards come into play on nine holes. The North Course, which was designed by Andy North and Roger Packard in 1994, has mounded fairways that are well bunkered, evidence of the designer making good use of the natural terrain. The signature hole on the Back Course is #9, a 584-yard, par 5, requiring a tee shot past the water in play on the right side of the elevated tee box, then an approach shot over the water hazard guarding the front of the green.
