This course was built on flat terrain and is easy to walk. Shot position is essential because many hazards, including sand and water, are strategically placed throughout the layout. Mature trees line the fairways of some holes and there is a lateral water hazard in play on every hole. The greens are fast, large and undulating. The wind frequently comes into play in the afternoon. Despite these challenges, Spring Valley can be enjoyed by even the beginning golfer.
