This beautiful course is nestled in the side of a mountain in East Kootenay. The natural slope of the land was retained during its design. The lush fairways vary in width and tall trees line some of the sides. During morning hours, deer and elk like to roam the course. Sparwood is home to the largest truck ever manufactured called "The Titan." Its purpose was to haul coal, but it is now on display across the highway from the course. Water comes into play on three of the eighteen holes. There are additional sets of tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.
