This club offers the brilliance of a well-designed course with the beauty of Virginia's flatlands. Originally designed by architect Jerry Slack, Somerset was redesigned by Rick Robbins in 2003. Trees line every hole on this narrow course, and water hazards come into play on ten holes. Precision is needed off the tee and a good short game is needed on the approach. The most photographed hole on this course is #8, a 149-yard, par 3, which plays into dense trees and over a marsh to the green.
