Smock Golf Course opened in 1974 on 161 pristine acres just south of Indianapolis. The Robert Simmons design was trademarked by its traversing play across Pleasant Run Creek, large greens, and strategically placed bunkers. Throughout the past 30 years of operation, Smock has continued to evolve as one of Indiana's premier golfing destinations through its commitment to first class service, preserving a natural environment, and growing the game. This course is a member of the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary System and it works to balance the interests of man with those of wildlife.

Smock Golf Course is home to over 70 bluebird houses, 5 acres of non-play naturalized areas, 6 wood duck houses, hummingbird and butterfly gardens, and many beautiful wildlife carvings throughout the course. With its ongoing commitment to naturalized pest management and future projects for improvement, Smock's unique golf environment continues to make history and sets it apart from the traditional golf experience.
