This course is located in a valley with a beautiful view of the Mount Hudson Bay mountains. The design features moderately wide fairways, half of them are tree lined. The undulating greens are relatively small and some are tiered. The signature hole is #16, a 214-yard, par 3, with a fairway flanked by water on the right and a double-tiered green guarded in front by water, trees around the left and back, and a bunker on the front right. Smithers hosts the Men's Northern Open each Labor Day weekend. Twilight discounts are available beginning at 6 PM. Junior discounts are available to persons eighteen years and younger. On Mondays you can golf for half price.
