Located adjacent to San Francisco Bay in the City of Mountain View, California, Shoreline Golf Links is an eighteen-hole, championship-level golf course. Designed by Robert Trent Jones II and Associates, the course was constructed on reclaimed land in 1982-1983. The buffer zone of windswept land is part of Mountain View's Shoreline Park, which also features a sailing lake, bicycle and jogging trails and other open space uses.

Shoreline Golf Links is a high-quality public golf course, offering four sets of tees, well-maintained fairways and fast and true putting greens. The course has some excellent vistas of coastal mountains and San Francisco Bay, particularly on Holes 7-9 and 10-12. With 16 acres of fresh water lakes and a 50-acre sailing lake adjacent to the tenth hole, the visual character of the course is "open and expansive". Play in the afternoon is usually made more challenging by winds which will ordinarily involve 1-2 club differentials.
