This old mountain course was carved out of the woods and is very steep and hilly, so expect uneven lies. The design resembles a "clover leaf" in which every third hole comes back to the clubhouse. Since many holes were built on top of hills, you can expect breathtaking views of the majestic Catskill Mountains. There are no sand bunkers, but water hazards come into play on four holes. The signature hole is #7, a 550-yard, par 5, featuring an uphill elevation change measuring 200 feet from tee to green. Soft spikes are strongly encouraged but not mandatory.
