This course is best known for hole #6, a 623-yard, par 5, which has a green that has never been reached in two. Players have a double dogleg fairway to select from when approaching the green, but they'll need to chip in from far if they have any chance for an eagle. This large greens are fast, so three putting isn't uncommon. The course record is 69 from the blue tees. "Golf Digest" rated this as the 15th "Best in State" course for 1995-96, and 17th best for 1997-98. The 6,221-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 77.3 and a slope or 141. During the weekends, guests can only play when accompanied by a club member.
