901 Seminole Boulevard North Palm Beach, FL 33408 p: 561.626.0280 This course was designed with the Scottish links-style in mind, so there are few trees but plenty of water hazards. Many holes were designed to play alongside the ocean. Most of the greens and tees are slightly elevated, and the terrain is predominantly flat, but there is a ridge of mounding that comes into play in the middle of the course. The greens are somewhat large, undulating and reasonably fast. This club only allows members and their guests to the play the course. "GOLF Magazine" selected this course 11th on its list of the "Top 100 Courses in the U.S." for 1995, 12th in 1997 and 10th in 1999. "GOLFWEEK" chose it 15th on its list of "America's 100 Best Classical Courses" for 1997, 13th for 1998 and 14th for 1999. Dick Wilson redesigned the course in 1947 and Ed Connor did some restorations in 1991. |
