220 Warrenton Street Rockport, ME 04856 p: 207.594.1431 Website This course's first seven holes were built alongside the Atlantic Ocean, and because the heavy ocean breezes play a major factor, proper club selection becomes a major part of the game. The signature hole is #4, a 503-yard, par 5, which plays alongside the ocean and has a beautiful view of the waves crashing around the Rockland Breakwater. "Golf Digest" ranked this as the 2nd "Best in State" course for the years 1995 through 1998. The same publication ranked it 26th among the "Top 75 Resort Courses" for 1992, and 52nd in the category of "Top 75 Upscale Courses" for 1996. Geoffrey Cornish and Brian Silva redesigned this course in the 1980's. Various golf cards are accepted for discounts. |
