This is an old, traditional New England course. Even though the fairways are tree lined, they do afford generous landing areas. Additionally, the greens are small, so if you hit them in regulation you should have a good opportunity to make a birdie. The signature hole is #9, a 160-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water to the green. In addition, there is a brook that comes into play on some of the other holes.
