RiverTowne Country Club is an eighteen hole Arnold Palmer signature course, and opened for play February 2002. The course plays through scenic marshlands and majestic live oaks. As evidenced by the club's name, water is abundant at RiverTowne and 13 holes play along the Wando River and Horlbeck Creek. The rolling fairways feature some dramatic mounding, and the signature Arnold Palmer designed greens are large and challenging. The bunkers are strategically placed and plentiful, forcing many to choose between risk and reward. RiverTowne plays from 5300 to in excess of 7200-yards, and there are five sets of tees to accommodate all skill levels.
