he showpiece of Ridgefields Country Club is the 18-hole championship golf course. It was designed in 1947 and construction began in 1948. The club was established in 1950. Renowned golf course architect Donald Ross designed Ridgefields along with over 400 other golf courses. Ridgefields was the last course completed by his associates bearing his name and design. Using the natural rolling hills of the area, the surrounding majestic mountains and the Holston River that symbolize the beauty of the East Tennessee region, the course provides beauty and a tremendous golfing challenge.

The golf course will appeal to golfers of any age due to yardage ranging from over 6800 years to 5069 years. There are four sets of tees to choose from, so whether you are an avid golfer or a weekend golfer, you are sure to enjoy the golfing experience at Ridgefields Country Club.
