This course, located in southwestern Virginia, has the Appalachian mountain for a backdrop. Nine holes run through hilly terrain, and water hazards that come into play on a few holes. The fairways are tree lined, and the greens are large. The signature hole is #7, a 172-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water to the green.
