This course has stayed true to its original design by resisting the changes and modifications that many other courses have undergone in an attempt to be considered modern. The back nine is more challenging than the front nine holes, offering more hills, elevation changes and tighter, tree-lined fairways. The front nine is gently rolling and fairly open. In general, the greens are small and flat. There are not many sand bunkers, however, a creek meanders across the back nine and ponds are incorporated into the designs of holes #1 and #9.
