This lovely course offers a golfing challenge that's heightened by views of the ocean from several holes. A Robert Trent Jones, Sr. design, it was built on rather hilly terrain and features fairly narrow, tree-lined fairways and gentle, undulating greens. The signature hole is #16, a 176-yard, par 3, which is played parallel to the ocean and calls for a tee shot across cliffs onto the green. It's a challenging and beautiful hole. Port Royal has hosted the Bermuda Open, which has been held every October since 1978. There is also a large pro-am tournament held in December.
