This scenic course is home to abundance of wildlife, including deer and groundhogs frequently seen grazing beside the fairways. Ponds or dry ditches come into play on four holes. The fairways are wide open, and the circular-shaped greens are small and fast. The signature hole is #7, a 480-yard, par 5, requiring both the tee shot and second shot over ditches.
