The original front nine on this course was built in a valley on flat, wide open terrain. Two years later, the back nine was added with a very hilly design. Many patrons prefer to walk the front nine and ride the back nine. The back nine was built on the sides of large hills and has severely sloping fairways and greens. The most difficult hole is #15, a 347-yard, par 4, which won't allow the average golfer to go for the green in two, but rather forces them to lay-up on their second shot in order to be in position for a possible birdie opportunity. Two natural ponds and three creeks come into play on five holes. Junior discount rates are only good during the weekdays.
