Crimson Lake Provincial Park Rocky Mountain House, AB T0M 1T0 Canada p: 403.845.7400 This course originally opened with nine holes in the mid-1960's. Another nine was then added which intermixed the new and old holes. The course is in a country setting with the magnificent Canadian Rocky Mountains as a backdrop. The fairways are heavily treed among rolling hills. The greens are medium-sized, very fast and some are undulating. The toughest hole is #6, a long 641-yard, par 5, requiring long shots, coupled with fairly accurate ball placement. Water affects play on six of the eighteen holes. The 6,208-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 75.6 and a slope of 135. |
