This course was built on hilly terrain and usually plays into the wind. Both water and trees come into play quite often during the round. The hills and valleys allow this course to drain readily. The signature hole is #9, a 349-yard, par 4, requiring a long tee shot over water to a narrow fairway, and an approach over water to the green.
