This is a well-manicured course with narrow fairways, some of which are tree lined. The greens are fast, average-sized and undulating. The signature hole is #16, a 157-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot from an elevated box down to a green that is guarded by a large ash pit with a coulee-sized mouth. The pit is located to the right of the green and, needless to say, if your shot goes right it will in all probably be out-of-bounds. Water comes into play on six holes. Les Furber and Jim Eremko designed the back nine, which was added in 1987.
