This course features links style golf in southern Louisiana plantation surroundings. The course is located along the banks of the Mississippi River, and covers 250 acres of a former sugar cane farm. Thirty acres of lakes can be found on the course. An additional eighteen hole course, The Lakes at Pelican Poing, is scheduled to open October, 2002.
