Paradise Pointe Golf Complex is Kansas City's only public golf facility that offers two challenging 18 hole golf courses plus a 4 hole Academy course. Paradise Pointe consistently strives to offer golfers of all abilities a unique golfing experience. Each of our courses offers exciting views of Smithville Lake along with its natural wildlife habitats.

Originally called the Paradise Pointe, the Posse course was renamed in 1994. The course was designed and built 21 years ago by Ault and Associates. The course features bluegrass fairways and rough areas, along with bent grass greens that have subtle breaks that make them challenging for all players. Many holes actually skirt the lake, and you only have to wait until the second hole to experience it. The par 3 fifth hole, with the lake on the left side of the green, is one of the best and most scenic par 3 tests in the Kansas City area.

The newer of the two courses, the Outlaw was designed by Craig Schreiner. It is a true "links" style course meaning that there are an outgoing nine holes, and an incoming nine holes. The fairways are zoysia grass, with fescue rough areas. Even though there are few trees as hazards, natural native prairie grass frames most holes. From the forward and middle tees, it is an enjoyable play for golfers of all abilities. As for golfers who choose to play the championship tees the course becomes one of the best tests in the Kansas City area. Deep, well places bunkers are plentiful and need to be avoided.
