This course is very picturesque and offers incredible views of the surrounding area. The course is situated in a valley surrounded by the picturesque Appalachian Mountains and Lake Memphremagos. The resort borders the northern tip of Vermont and many visitors take the ferry from Newport, Vermont to the resort. There are several water hazards and sand bunkers that come into play on a number of holes. Numerous mature trees are found lining the fairways, which are wide, hilly and undulating. Many tournaments are held at the golf course. This resort center also offers year-round sporting activities, and Owl's Head Ski Resort offers fantastic skiing during the winter months.
