Water hazards (a river and six ponds) come into play on six holes. The signature hole is #15, a 494-yard, par 5, requiring a tee shot over the Satilla River to a small landing area in the fairway, then an approach shot to a well-bunkered green bordered by the same river. Sprinkler heads and yardage markers are measured to the center of the greens.
