This suburban course is situated on the top of a ridge, with a view of the town of Jacksonville. With generous, rolling fairways, the course is ideal for beginners. The plush, mildly undulating greens are always well-maintained, which makes for an enjoyable round of golf. Hole #9, a 123-yard, par 3, plays from an elevated tee to a raised green protected on three sides by sand bunkers. The fairway is bordered on the right side by one of three ponds that come into play.
