The front nine on this course is more of a links-style design than the back nine. The back nine is very hilly and features undulating greens. Water hazards come into play on six holes. The signature hole is #16, a long 449-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot over water, then an approach shot over water to a horseshoe-shaped green guarded by a large sand bunker in the back. Designer Gary Player says he will put this hole up against any par 4 in the world.
