This old, links-style course has fairly narrow fairways. Locals say that the small greens contain so many slight undulations and subtle breaks that only they can read them. The terrain is flat, and the wind from the bay can become a definite factor. The signature hole is #3, a 400-yard, par 4, requiring a series of shots into a strong prevailing wind.
