This course opened in 1875 and is the oldest in North America. The course is flat with tree-lined fairways and greens are medium-sized and fast. There are sand bunkers surrounding the greens and along the fairways. Lake Ontario lines five holes and could cause trouble if you do not stay on the fairways. The signature hole is #3, a 120-yard, par 3, which plays from an elevated tee overlooking the lake to a challenging green with bunkers on the sides. The ladies tee off from the same set of tees as the men.
