This course, which opened its back nine in 1996, was built on gently rolling and scenic terrain. The fairways are wide and some are tree lined. Water hazards come into play on eight holes, and sand bunkers are sprinkled throughout the design. The greens are small on the front nine and large on the back, but all are fairly fast. The signature hole is #12, a 358-yard, par 4, featuring a severe dogleg right fairway, which calls for a tee shot of at least 220 yards just to see the green on the second shot. From there it is uphill thirty feet to a three-tiered green that has no sand bunkers or water hazards to avoid.
